How I work

I've gone from support engineer to senior backend developer in a single company. That experience gave me something most engineers don't have – a deep understanding of how products work from the customer's perspective, not just from the code. I own everything I make – from the first line of code to the on-call alerts.

I'm currently deep into Go, concurrency models, the Go runtime, and performance profiling. I enjoy making things simple, not complex.

Outside of code, I'm a fan of Formula 1, new places, and smart home tech. I'm a big fan of automation – if it can be scripted, it should be. I enjoy explaining complex topics in simple terms. Coffee and good log files make for a good day.
